We spoke with Michael Risoli, CEO MKS Group at the Sydney Franchise Expo about their business and how they work to support both franchisees and franchisors in the sector.

The business has been working in the franchise community for near 10 years and have personally been working with franchise groups in a range of niches within the sector.
Based in Melbourne, Michael makes it clear that they work with clients right across the country.
“It’s more than just numbers. It’s also about key metrics and KPIs. We bring a commercial acumen to that… we’re more than just ‘have you got your BAS on time?’ That’s important, keeping you compliant. But also, how are you tracking as a business and hows your cashflow and are you getting the right support from your franchisor and with in the franchise community itself?”.
Michael openly encourages all to keep a close eye on the fundamentals of their business, and run their business as opposed to just looking to a royalty stream from it.
